Version 2022.47 - New Snow Mode, New Address Sharing from the Rivian Mobile App to the Vehicle, New Vehicle Controls Support with the Rivian Mobile App, New TIDAL Music Source, New Song

Amazon Music is a great option for Rivian drivers who want to listen to music without having to pay an extra monthly fee. With Alexa onboard, you can access Prime music and your library of purchased music at Amazon simply by telling Alexa what you want to hear. Unfortunately, the truck won't start the music up again without being told to after you turn it off and then return and turn it on again; so you'll need to tell Alexa to "resume" each time you get back in the truck. You can also play Amazon Music stations included with Prime simply by telling Alexa to "Play the  from Amazon Music". To get continuous music, you'll need to tell Alexa to either play a specific Amazon Music station or playlist. It's not currently possible to connect memory stick and play songs, but you can do this with your music on your phone by bluetooth as opposed to a memory stick. If you don't have any USB-C drive keys, you can buy an adapter that will allow you to run old style thumb drives as well as purchase a flash drive specifically designated for Tesla which is Fat32 capable.

You can also access Amazon Music Unlimited, which is a paid subscription service that gives you access to millions of songs. With this option, you'll be able to ask Alexa for specific artists or genres and she will play them from the Amazon Music library. You can even create your own custom stations based on what type of music you like and have Alexa play it for you whenever requested. To get started with Amazon Music Unlimited, simply sign up through the app or website and then link your account with Alexa in order to start playing music right away.

If you're looking for something more than just streaming services such as Spotify or Apple Music, then consider using an audio book service such as Audible instead. This way, not only do Rivian drivers get their favorite tunes but they also get some great stories too! All audiobooks are available via voice command so all one needs to do is say "Alexa Play [title] by [author]" and it will begin playing immediately without any extra setup required. Plus there's no need to worry about data usage since most books come pre-downloaded onto devices so they don't require internet connection while listening - perfect if traveling long distances!

Finally, if none of these options appeal then why not try out podcasts? Podcasts are free audio programs that cover a wide range of topics from news & politics to comedy & entertainment; plus many more besides! There's sure to be something interesting enough here for everyone regardless of taste - just tell Alexa "Play podcast" followed by whatever topic interests them most (e..g sports) and she'll find suitable shows accordingly!

Is there an Amazon Music App in the vehicle?

No, but with Alexa onboard, you'll be able to play any and all "free" music that's available to you as a Prime member and any personal music you've purchased through Amazon that's associated with your account.

Is there a way to import the library of songs I like from my Amazon music app on my phone to the vehicle?

No, there's no way to import songs and store them. When you initially set up Alexa in the truck, you'll use your Amazon sign-in; once you do that, Alexa will be able to access Prime music (if you're a Prime member) as well as your library of purchased music at Amazon. You can also create a named playlist of your favorite music in Amazon Music and Alexa can then play that named playlist.

Is there a way to play continuous music via Amazon?

Is there a way to connect memory stick and pay songs?

No, I don't believe so. But you can do this with your music on your phone by bluetooth as opposed to a memory stick.

Can you not load up a USB drive with songs (in mpeg or other format), plug it in and have them recognized?

I haven't tried this mostly because others have said that the only thing that you can currently do on the USB ports is download GearGuard videos; however, the main reason is that all of the USB ports are type C and I don't have any type C drive keys since they're not very widespread.

Is there a way to play music from my phone without using Bluetooth?
