The Rivian R1T is a great vehicle, and this week we had the opportunity to work on one. The color of the vehicle shifts depending on the lighting, which gives it an interesting look. We applied LLumar IRX window tint in 15% for the front windows, 40% for the rear windows, sunroof and rear glass, and LLumar AIR 80 for the front windshield. This combination creates a uniform look while still allowing plenty of light into the cabin. Additionally, we applied LLumar Platinum Paint Protection Film onto the front end of the car to help protect against scratches and dirt.
Ceramic coating is also available as an option for extra protection from the elements. It helps with longevity and makes it easier to keep up with cleaning your car. While ceramic coating may be a good investment, it's ultimately up to you to decide if it's worth it or not.
When it comes to colors, Launch Green looks very nice but there are other options available too. Forest Green is another popular choice that many people prefer over Launch Green. Ultimately, it all comes down to personal preference when deciding what color you want your car to be.
We also installed a set of 20-inch wheels and tires on the Rivian R1T. The wheels are made from lightweight aluminum alloy, which helps to reduce unsprung weight and improve handling. We chose Nitto NT555 G2 tires for their excellent grip in both wet and dry conditions.
The interior of the car was given an upgrade with some custom leather upholstery that we had specially ordered for this vehicle. It looks great against the Launch Green exterior paint job, giving it a luxurious feel inside as well as out.
Finally, we added some accessories such as side steps to make getting into the car easier, mud flaps to protect against dirt and debris kicked up by other vehicles on the road, running boards for extra protection when entering or exiting your vehicle, roof racks for carrying additional cargo items like bikes or kayaks if needed; all these additions help give your ride its own unique look while still being functional at the same time!
Overall our work on this Rivian R1T turned out great! The combination of LLumar window tinting film along with ceramic coating gives it superior protection from UV rays while still allowing plenty of light into cabin space; adding custom leather upholstery makes it look even more luxurious than before; finally installing 20-inch wheels with Nitto NT555 G2 tires provides better handling performance without sacrificing too much comfortability - all these upgrades combined create one amazing looking machine that will surely turn heads wherever you go!

What did you do to the Rivian R1T?

What is the purpose of using different shades of window tint?
To give the truck a more uniform look, we tinted the fronts darker and the rears lighter so they'd match. The fronts will always look slightly lighter than the rears because of the amount of light let in through the front windshield.
Is it legal to over-tint windows?
Each state has its own laws and we do not encourage tint beyond that. However, aftermarket tint can protect from UV rays and provide more heat protection than the glass itself.
Does ceramic coating help with paint longevity?
Yes, ceramic coating can help with the longevity of your paint and makes it easier to keep up with keeping the car clean. It just depends on one to see if those options are something you'd consider for your car or not.
What color does Launch Green shift to depending on lighting?
In strong sunlight it appears much lighter colored. The photos above were taken in the shade, which is how it would typically be seen in Pacific Northwest. In direct sunlight, the color shifts to a lighter green with more of a yellow hue.
