In comparison with other EVs that are about to be released, they appear to have since targeted RIVIAN’s market by not only offering similar or better features and specs, their target delivery dates are on time.
Are there other 4WD Pickup Trucks about to be released?
Yes, GM has the $110K Hummer, Ford has the Lightning which keeps moving the goalposts out to the parking lot as far as proposed delivery dates, Chevy Silverado EV is a 2024 model and Tesla Cybertruck is still building the factory that makes the truck and can't even get the windshield wiper to work properly on the prototype. Out of the four competitors, Rivian is in the best position to deliver first in meaningful numbers because they are actually producing retail vehicles at this time where the others are very far from production (except for the Hummer which isn't competition for the R1T).
