The Chevrolet Silverado EV has been revealed ahead of its debut today. It features a design that blends the classic look of the Avalanche with modern technology from the Hummer EV. The RST and WT models feature public DC fast charging capabilities of up to 350kW, enabling approximately 100 miles of range to be added in 10 minutes based on GM estimates. With the growing North American network of chargers and the Energy Assist feature in the myChevrolet Mobile App, drivers can create energy-efficient route planning even while trailering. When combined with the available accessory power bar, the Silverado EV’s PowerBase charging system offers up to 10 outlets, providing 10.2kW of all-electric power for countless worksite or recreational needs. The Silverado EV will come in three versions: EV RST, EV WT (Work Truck) and EV Trail Boss. GM says it will get over 400 miles of range on a full charge and have an MSRP starting at $39,900 + DFC for the WT model when production ramps up in fall 2023.
